TIME100 Impact 2023 – Event Motion Design For TIME’s 2023 Impact Award Ceremony, I was the animation lead for a series of looping background visuals, created to elevate the live event experience with a sense of elegance and depth.

The design combines 3D mograph and 2D animation using TIME’s iconic shapes. The 3D sequences were crafted with black tones and directional redshift lighting, revealing edge highlights through subtle motion driven by light movement. This added dimensionality and refinement to the visuals. The 2D elements were designed for transitions and visual rhythm, using bold red forms that echo TIME’s brand identity, filling the screen dynamically to create seamless scene changes.
